The credentials TEN-E holds determine which standards carry weight in an FDA review, which dangerous goods certification a carrier will accept, and which retailer programs a test report can unlock.

Accreditations, Approvals & Certificates

TEN-E’s accreditations and approvals determine which standards we can test to, which regulatory submissions our results support, and which retailer programs our clients can qualify for.

The international standard for laboratory competence. ANAB assesses our procedures, equipment, personnel, and quality system, so our accredited results carry the traceability that FDA submissions, retailer programs, and international regulatory filings require.

CERTIFICATES

A DOT-authorized designation to test lighter packaging to 49 CFR Part 178 and issue Lighter Authorization Approval (LAA) numbers required under 49 CFR 173.308(b). TEN-E is one of a small number of labs authorized to issue them.

APASS Certification

Amazon’s certification authorizing TEN-E to run the ISTA 6 tests behind its packaging programs: SIOC, FFP, PFP, and Over Boxing. Amazon accepts our results for all four. For Amazon inquiries, contact apass@ten-e.com.

CERTIFICATES

Federal registration authorizing TEN-E to test packaging for Schedule I through V controlled substances, a compliance requirement for any lab handling regulated drug products. It covers the full schedule range in one accredited lab.

CERTIFICATES

The DOT’s authorization to certify dangerous goods packaging to Title 49 CFR and issue UN certification marks. TEN-E holds it at all three U.S. labs and was the first U.S. agency to receive it, so our results carry direct regulatory standing.

CERTIFICATES

ISTA has assessed our equipment, procedures, and reporting against its requirements. Certification is required for ISTA results to be accepted by member retailers and programs, including Amazon, Sam’s Club, and FedEx.

CERTIFICATES

South Africa’s national ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, held under the ILAC mutual recognition arrangement, so our Centurion results carry the same international recognition as our ANAB-accredited U.S. results. Explosives testing (UN Test Series 6) runs here.
