DOT Hazmat Training

To that end, we provide comprehensive, company- and function-specific U.S. Department of Transportation hazardous materials training (CFR Title 49).

TEN-E Packaging Services’ DOT hazmat training starts with general awareness training to familiarize all of your hazmat employees with the Department of Transportation’s general regulations and communications standards.

From there, TEN-E provides function-specific instruction, which targets federal hazardous materials regulations as they apply to the duties the individual employee fulfills. For example, for an employee whose job is to package hazardous materials, TEN-E tailors function-specific hazmat training to packaging-related DOT regulations. Shipping and loading workers would, in turn, receive instruction on guidelines that apply specifically to these job functions.

Each individual participating in TEN-E’s comprehensive DOT hazmat training also receives easy to understand safety training to the Department of Transportation’s standards, as well as in-depth security awareness instruction and security training.
